- For each meal you will want to include whole grains such as brown rice (not white because it is bleached and less healthy) or cheerios. You will also want to include at least 3 fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the entire day. Avoid eating “fast foods,” premade meals (such as TV dinners), or anything contain preservatives. It’s best to make something from scratch.
- If you wish to have a salad with your lunch or dinner, be sure to include fish oil or vinegar as they help speed the overall detox process tremendously. Cucumbers, carrots, celery, tomatoes, cauliflower, cabbage, etc. are great additions to a salad.
- You should drink a tonic meant to help your liver and kidneys on any 2 of the 3 days. You don’t need to purchase an expensive, ill-tasting, tonic. You may substitute any one of the following as one of your two daily tonics: beetroot or carrot juice, two cups of dandelion, fennel tea, two cups of yellow tea, a clove of fresh garlic, chamomile tea, or a medium sized bunch of black grapes.
After this 3 day detox diet you should feel more rejuvenated, feel like you have unlimited energy, and a greater sense of wellness. If you partake of a 3 day detox diet on a regular, or semi-regular basis, you will find that you can think clearer and feel better than you’ve ever felt before.
